Cousin Hillary Osborn, he is uncle Franks youngest boy. He took us all around to see all the relation that was near. We also visited the McLain cemetry [also called the New Buda Cemetry for its location in New Buda Twp/CL] where our grand parents a burried Jake & Barbara Osborn, our great grandfather and grandmother McLain are burried here. he gave the ground for the cemetry... I do not what rember what his given name was but there are a lot of relatives burried there. We went with our daddy to uncle Henerys funeral he was buried in the McLain cemtry when we lived there he was grandmas bro and Uncle Will is buried there to we all went. Henery & wife Edith [Edy Ann/DM] Children: Ira, Nora, Ellen, & Dell. Dell lived in Leon Iowa, county sete of Decatur Co. Adam & wife Senthy [Cynthia/DM]. Children: Rilley, a beautiful woman married Bill Woods. Joe married Milley. Hess, Mat, Sarg and Liman. We saw his [Liman's] boy Homer they had a baby boy born Sept 26-50 when we were there. Will wife Jen. Children: Emery, Earney, Tutes and her little sister I don't remember her name. Sister Julie McLain married Sam Sams and another sister [Elizabeth] married Adam Bowers I don't rember [page two] what her name was, but when we lived there we went to see them they lived 30 miles from Davis City in Canes Vill [Cainsville] Mo. She had so many pretty quilts all finished. Aunt Julie had a cupboard full of bees wax all molded in big milk pans. her daughter was Mrs. Leach. We went there she had cancer of the brest. I don't rember what her or his first name was. She had a big fat boy [dog?] that slep out by the bee hives so we children would not bother him. Great Uncle Henrys [McLain] girl Nora died in child birth, his son Ira died T. B. the other son Dell was living in Leon Iowa. he was so deef we could not talk to him. when we were there in 1950. great uncle Henry was a farmer and bee keeper he lived on our grandfathers Jake Osborns homestead we children Jim, Charley, Mary, and I played in the old stone house where our daddy was born. Uncle Henery used it for a black smith shop as it was close to his house, but it was gone when we were there. but his house was still there and somebody living in it we moved to B[lue] S[prings NE] in 91 so you see it was old, but looked real nice from outside[,] great uncle Will McLain's house was gone [page three] Great Uncle Adam McLain house was still there he had a lovely big house. he had a stoar in Davis City. but there was not any of them there. only his sons [Liman's] boy Homer, & family. his [Liman's] wife had cancer we saw her when we were there she died and was buried by her Husband Liman in Nov. 1950. We took Milly, Joes wife, with us to the cemetery to see Joe's grave. She was 83 years old she lived with batchlor son. Great Uncle Will [McLain] boy Emery was to see Daddy & Mother when they lived there in Beatrice at the foot of the hill. he only stayed all night and left in the morning mother said he was hansome man. I don't know about any of them they are all dead that lived there, except (Hillerys & his family].
