She had been despondent over the condition of her health. Surviving are her husband; a daughter, Mrs. Jack Smith of Steamboat Rock; and two sons, Dean of Whitten, and Carl of Grundy Center. Mrs. Eggleston was Cora Hoover before marriage. She had resided in Hardin and Grundy counties all her life of 55 years. The funeral probably will be on Saturday afternoon in Grundy Center, with burial in Whitten. Mrs. Eggleston attended a band concert on Wednesday evening in company with her son and daughter-in-law, Mr. and Mrs. Dean Eggleston, and appeared in good spirits.
