He was a member of the Odd Fellows Lodge. He leaves one daughter, Mrs. Rhea Hensley, Grundy Center; two sons, Dean, Eldora and Carl, Los Angeles; three sisters, Mrs. Evelyn Watson, Barrett, Minnesota, Mrs. James Callaway, Moline, Illinois, Miss Marian Eggleston, Des Moines; one brother, James, Grundy Center.
