Mrs. Cora Miller, 79 years old, residing near Abington and her son-in-law Welton D. Pierson, 533 North Twenty-second street, died in their homes at 9 a.m. Mrs. Miller had been in for some time. Mrs. Cora Miller, 79 years old, residing near Abington and her son-in-law Welton D. Pierson, 533 North Twenty-second street, died in their homes at 9 a.m. Mrs. Miller had been in for some time. Mr Pierson had been failing health but was able to be out as recently as last Saturday. He was 48 years old. Mrs. Miller, widow of John W. Miller, was born and lived all of her life in the Abington community. Mr. Pierson, a machine operator at the Atlas Underwear company, had resided in Richmond 25 years. He was a member of the Second Presbyterian church. Surviving Mrs. Miller are three daughters, Mrs. Myrtle Pierson, Mrs Emma Demaree, both of Richmond and Mrs. Ethel Wood, Centerville; three sons, Roy, at home, Earl and Jess Miller of Richmond; one brother Rufus Stinson, Philomath, five grandchildren and two great-grand children. Survivors Listed Mr. Pierson is survived by the widow, Mrs. Myrtle Pierson; his mother, Mrs. Elizabeth Pierson, Richmond; three sisters, Mrs. Lloyd McFee, Richmond, Mrs. Clifford Sharp, East Germantown, and Mrs. Earl Baker, Oxford; three brothers, Clarence Pierson of Hamilton, Stanley and Harold Pierson of Richmond. Double funeral services for Mrs. Miller and Mr. Pierson will be held Wednesday at 2:30 p.m. (d.s.t.) at the Abington Christian church. Rev. George J. Goris of the Second Presbyterian church, Richmond, will officiate. Burial will be in the Abington cemetery. Friends of both may call at eh Klute Funeral home after 2 p.m. Tuesday.
