Mrs. Glover, the former Cora Treva Marshall, was born March 8, 1934 in Washington, Iowa. She was the daughter of Leon Marshall and Grace Stull Marshall Abrahamson. She graduated from Mt. Pleasant High School. On September 14, 1950 at the First Methodist Parsonage in Mt. Pleasant, Cora was united in marriage to Glenn Merlin Glover. She was the daughter of Leon Marshall and Grace Stull Marshall Abrahamson. She graduated from Mt. Pleasant High School. On September 14, 1950 at the First Methodist Parsonage in Mt. Pleasant, Cora was united in marriage to Glenn Merlin Glover. Mr. Glover died on Saturday, August 13, 2011 at their residence in Mt. Pleasant. From 1966 until her retirement in 1992, Cora was the bookkeeper, sales clerk and administrative assistant at the Supply Co-op. She remained with the company after it was known as Farmland Co-op. She handled most aspects of the business, from sales to stocking to mixing paint. Cora was a very active member of First Baptist Church. She served as a Deaconess and Sunday School teacher, as well as participating in the activities of the Prayer Circle and of numerous bible studies. Cora loved to read and help her husband Glenn on their farm west of town. Most especially, Cora dearly loved going to lunch with her friends and nieces. Her parents, husband, 2 brothers – Van & Leon Marshall and 2 sister – Lenora Scarff & Sharon Hamman precede Cora in death.
