Description	:	Cora Zeppelin Moore Cora Zeppelin Moore, 90, of North Platte passed away Sept. 21, 2011, at Good Samaritan Hospital in Kearney. She was born April 20, 1921, to George M. and Iva Cassens Andre. She attended Pleasant Hill School west of Stapleton. She accepted the Lord as her savior at an early age. On Aug. 20, 1943, she married Merle E. Moore in Stapleton. He died Jan. 7, 1972. Read More	Cora Zeppelin Moore Cora Zeppelin Moore, 90, of North Platte passed away Sept. 21, 2011, at Good Samaritan Hospital in Kearney. She was born April 20, 1921, to George M. and Iva Cassens Andre. She attended Pleasant Hill School west of Stapleton. She accepted the Lord as her savior at an early age. On Aug. 20, 1943, she married Merle E. Moore in Stapleton. He died Jan. 7, 1972. They were privileged to become part-time caregivers for a cousin's small daughter, Lulu Fae Johnson, due to her mother being ill. Zeppelin spent most of her working years as a telephone operator in Stapleton. She also worked as a desk clerk for motels in Ogallala and North Platte. She was a member of the Church of the Nazarene in North Platte. She enjoyed going to church and spending time with family and friends. She also enjoyed reading, playing board games, sewing and making crafts. Survivors include her "daughter of the heart," Lulu Cumpston, of Kearney; grandsons, Ted (Heather) Cumpston, of Highlands Ranch, Colo., and Troy (Launa) Cumpston, of Kearney; great-grandchildren, Nikole, Marc, Trevor, Benjamin and Sarah Cumpston; brothers, Melvin Andre, of Callaway, Cliff (Clare) Andre, of Morrison, Colo., and John (Peggy) Andre, of Citrus Heights, Calif.; sister-in-law, Anna Andre, of Omaha; brother-in-law, Verlon Hopkins, of North Platte; many nieces and nephews; and a host of friends. Merle preceded her in death on Jan. 7, 1972. She was also preceded in death by her parents; sister, Elsie Hopkins; and brothers, Lyle, Paul, James and Peter; sister-in-law, Elyene Andre; and a son-in-law, Gerald Cumpston. Services will be 2 p.m. Monday, Sept. 26, at Parkview Community Church of the Nazarene with Chaplain Lloyd Speicher officiating. Burial will follow in the Loup Valley Cemetery near Stapleton. Visitation will be noon until 6 p.m. Saturday and Sunday at Adams & Swanson Funeral Home. North Platte Telegraph September 23, 2011
