Description	:	Coy Oliver Lowery, 78, of El Dorado, passed from this life on Monday, Sept. 22, 2014, at St. Vincent’s Infirmary Medical Center in Little Rock. Coy was born on Aug. 14, 1936, in El Dorado to the late Gladys Bridges Lowery and William Jesse Lowery. Coy was a U.S. Army veteran, serving his country for two years. Coy worked in the maintenance department for Great Lakes Chemical, serving 30 plus years before his retirement in 1998. Read More	Coy Oliver Lowery, 78, of El Dorado, passed from this life on Monday, Sept. 22, 2014, at St. Vincent’s Infirmary Medical Center in Little Rock. Coy was born on Aug. 14, 1936, in El Dorado to the late Gladys Bridges Lowery and William Jesse Lowery. Coy was a U.S. Army veteran, serving his country for two years. Coy worked in the maintenance department for Great Lakes Chemical, serving 30 plus years before his retirement in 1998. After retirement, Coy enjoyed going camping, fishing and raising a vegetable garden. He enjoyed spending time with his family, especially his grandchildren, and will be greatly missed by all. Coy was preceded in death by his parents, William Jesse Lowery and Gladys (Bridges) Lowery. Those left to cherish his memory include his wife, Tina Lowery of El Dorado; one son, Mike Lowery and his wife Kim of El Dorado; one daughter, Elicia Maline and her husband Paul of Lawrence, Kan.; six grandchildren; eight great-grandchildren; four sisters, Norma Faye Sones, Laverne Johnson, Barbara Harber and Paula Vines, all of El Dorado; three brothers, Delbert “Pete” Lowery of Mebane, N.C., Billy Lowery of Shreveport, La. and Danny Lowery of El Dorado; and numerous nieces, nephews and friends. Visitation will be from 5 until 7 p.m. today at Bailey Funeral Home. Funeral services are scheduled for 2 p.m. Wednesday, Sept. 24, at Bailey Funeral Home Chapel, with Bro.
