Description	:	CSA Son of Nathan and Eliza Ann Baker Evans. William married (1) Margaret Fladger Haselden on January 8, 1867, and (2) Mary Sue Berry on December 16, 1873. "William volunteered during the beginning of the Civil War. In one of the Virginia battles he received a wound which proved almost fatal; a minnie ball passing through his lung; but he recovered and returned to the front, where he served heroically till the end of the war. He surrendered with General Joseph Johnston's Army, April 26, 1885. His first wife Margaret Haselden died within a year of their marriage... Read More	CSA Son of Nathan and Eliza Ann Baker Evans.
