Description	:	Craig Allen Bolin, age 81, of Clarksville, Iowa, was born the son of William and Olive (Winke) Bolin on May 27, 1940, Waverly, Iowa. He received his education from the Dumont School and graduated high school in 1957. He continued his education and attended Wartburg College in Waverly, Iowa. Read More	Craig Allen Bolin, age 81, of Clarksville, Iowa, was born the son of William and Olive (Winke) Bolin on May 27, 1940, Waverly, Iowa. He received his education from the Dumont School and graduated high school in 1957. He continued his education and attended Wartburg College in Waverly, Iowa. Craig served in the United States Navy from 1960 – 1964 aboard the U.S.S. Yorktown. Craig was united in marriage with Marilyn Joyce Franke in Cedar Falls, Iowa. The couple made their home in Cedar Falls for several years before they purchased Craig's parent's acreage south of Clarksville. Through the years Craig had been an UPS driver, worked at the Carnation Company in Waverly and the former Sheild Bantam Company, later known as Terex Cranes in Waverly, retiring after 35 plus years. Craig was a member of Unity Presbyterian Church, rural Clarksville, where he served as an Elder and helped take care of the church any way he could. He enjoyed golfing, especially with his golfing gang. Much of his spare time was taking care of their acreage, where he enjoyed the outdoors, and going fishing with his sons. Craig was easy going and enjoyed conversations with anyone. He looked forward to attending the annual Yorktown reunions. Craig and Marilyn enjoyed traveling, and especially loved to go and see their grandchildren whenever they could. Craig passed away on Thursday, July 15, 2021, at the Waverly Health Center in Waverly, Iowa, from natural causes. He was preceded in death by his parents and his wife Marilyn. Craig is survived by two sons, Paul Bolin of the Atlanta, Georgia area, and Ben (Stacy) Bolin of Kansas City, MO; and four grandchildren: Maygen, Chandra, Lydia and Sophia Bolin. Craig was cremated and his services will be at a later date. Redman Funeral & Cremation Services in Clarksville are in charge of the arrangements.
