Description	:	Craig Tennyson Williams, 87, Madison, died April 19, 2006, at Madison Community Hospital. Williams was born July 28, 1918, in Miner County to Owen and Jayne (Craig) Williams. He was preceded in death by his parents; a brother, Myron; and two infant grandchildren. He lived near Winfred and attended McLeod, Clarno and Reynolds country schools. Following graduation from Orland High School, he worked in Eugene, OR, for a year. He married Ruth Schmidt on Feb. 18, 1939, at Salem. Read More	Craig Tennyson Williams, 87, Madison, died April 19, 2006, at Madison Community Hospital. Williams was born July 28, 1918, in Miner County to Owen and Jayne (Craig) Williams. He was preceded in death by his parents; a brother, Myron; and two infant grandchildren. He lived near Winfred and attended McLeod, Clarno and Reynolds country schools. He farmed in Lake County until 1982, when they moved into Madison. He was a Funks and Golden Harvest seed dealer for more than 50 years. He was a member of St. John Lutheran Church in Madison, where he also served on the finance board. He served for 16 years on the Franklin School Board and several years on the Lake County Farm Home Administration Board. Survivors include his wife, Ruth of Madison; three sons, Ronald (Shirley) of Burton, MI, Darrold (Dianne) of Dell Rapids, and Steven S. (Linda) of Madison; three daughters, Eleanor (James N.) Enga of Madison, Joan (Dennis) Degen of Hartford, and Carol (Glenn) Cornell of Clark; 16 grandchildren; 17 great-grandchildren; two brothers, Delmar and L. Thomas, both of Madison; a sister, Fern (Lee) Anderson of Worthington, Minn.; and a sister-in-law, Olive Williams of Madison. Funeral services will be 10 a.m. Monday, April 24, 2006. Casketbearers will be Jeff and Darrin Williams, Tad and Dusty Degen, Jim and David Enga, and Brent Anderson. Honorary casketbearers will be grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
