Elliott St., a long-time Ellensburg resident who died Wednesday at her home. Crescentia Schindler was born March 31, 1877 at Ragensburg, Bavaria, Germany and came with her parents to the U.S. in 1883 and to Ellensburg from Wisconsin in 1885. Crescentia Schindler was born March 31, 1877 at Ragensburg, Bavaria, Germany and came with her parents to the U.S. in 1883 and to Ellensburg from Wisconsin in 1885. The family moved to California for a short time and returned here where Mrs. Vandenberg has lived the past 75 years. She was preceded in death by her husband, George L. Vandenberg in October, 1942. She was a member of St. Andrew's Catholic Church. Survivors include three sons, Dr. G. J. of Olympia, Albert of Seattle and Carl of Ellensburg; five daughters, Mrs. Emma Charles, Mrs. Rose Hughes and Mrs. Elinor Liston, all of Ellensburg, Mrs. Freda McDerment, Seattle and Mrs. Katherine Ludington, Yakima.
