Daisy Myers was born the daughter of Josiah and Rebecca Myers in McLean County, Iowa. Here she was raised and educated. Cary Dies Tragically Following an argument with her husband, Mrs. Cary died at the home of her neighbor on March 16, 1939. Daisy Myers was born the daughter of Josiah and Rebecca Myers in McLean County, Iowa. Here she was raised and educated. She was united in marriage to Arthur Bentley Cary on November 7, 1893 at Jewell, Iowa. They were raised on adjoining farms. After their marriage they farmed in Wright County, Iowa where their son Miles was born. Shortly after his birth they moved to Hubbard County, Minnesota where they established a bottling business in Park Rapids. They resided in this location until May 1905 when they relocated to Kenmare, North Dakota. Her husband filed a homestead claim in what is now Dimond Township, Burke County. At this time he also established a bottling works in Kenmare. They have since made Kenmare their home. Mrs. Cary was raised in the Baptist faith but joined with the Methodist Episcopal Church after her marriage to Mr. Cary. Funeral Services were held on Tuesday afternoon from the M.E. Church with the Rev. W.H. Farthing, pastor of that congregation officiating. Interment was made in the Lakeview Cemetery near her beloved son Miles who died in 1936. Pallbearers were R. S. Leppart, C. J. Westlake, Elmer Hemmingsen, J. L. Wemark, David Clark Jr. and Jess Cook. A loved one is gone from our circle, on earth we will meet her no more.
