Presbyterian church with interment in South Mineral cemetery, Onslow. Rev. John Osborn officiated. Mrs. Chase died Wednesday afternoon, May 19, at Senior Home, Monticello, where she had been a resident the past 1-1/2 months. She was born Sept. 6, 1881 near Edgewood, daughter of Christian S. and Lorana Bush Maxson. She received her early education in the Edgewood schools. She graduated from Edgewood high school in 1898. Mrs. Chase died Wednesday afternoon, May 19, at Senior Home, Monticello, where she had been a resident the past 1-1/2 months. She was born Sept. 6, 1881 near Edgewood, daughter of Christian S. and Lorana Bush Maxson. She received her early education in the Edgewood schools. She graduated from Edgewood high school in 1898. On Jan. 19, 1916, she married Harry G. Chase in Scotch Grove. The couple lived in Onslow and Edgewood before moving to Center Jet. in 1933. Mr. Chase died April 22, 1955. Mrs. Chase continued to make her home in Center Jet. until recently. She lived in Hopkinton for three months before moving to Senior Home. Mrs. Chase was a charter member of Center Jct. Garden club, a member of Happy Hour club and Center Jct. Presbyterian church. Surviving are three daughters, Mrs. Paul (Eileen) Ferguson of Lake City, Mrs. Raymond (Imogene) Bailey of Letts and Mrs. Hollys Loop of Hopkinton; six grandchildren and five great grandchildren. Preceding her in death were her husband, a brother, a sister and two half sisters.
