Description	:	Funeral services were held this (Thursday) afternoon at two o'clock in the Nelson Methodist Church for Miss Daisy Hall, 76, who died Monday in Brodstone Memorial Hospital at Superior where she had been a patient since Sept. 11. Miss Hall was born west of Nelson Jan. 9, 1885 and she had been a life-long resident of this community. Miss Hall was born west of Nelson Jan. 9, 1885 and she had been a life-long resident of this community. She received her education in the Nelson public schools, Kearney State Teachers College, Peru Normal, Colorado State College at Greeley and the University of Nebraska, from which she graduated in 1914. She taught for many years in the Nelson school and others in this area. Miss Hall was a member of the Nelson Methodist Church and the Nelson Rebekah Lodge No. 148. One brother, Oscar W., a rural Nelson resident, survives. She was preceded in death by three sisters, Mrs. Hilma Brown, Mrs. Minnie Edwards and Mrs. Carrie Hudson. The Rev. Mr. Ivan L. Belden, the church pastor, officiated at today's services. Burial was made in the Nelson cemetery (sic). The Nelson Gazette, Thursday, September 28, 1961
