He married Marilyn Ewy March 13, 1957, in Moundridge. She survives of Newton. He married Marilyn Ewy March 13, 1957, in Moundridge. She survives of Newton. He graduated with the Newton High School class of 1948 and attended Wichita State University for three years for education and accounting. He was also co-owner with his wife of Boese Market in Newton for 20 years. He was a member of the Family Christian Center and a former member of the Newton Junior JayCee's, both of Newton. He also was a member of the Jail Visitation team of First Mennonite Church for several years. Survivors (Private) Visitation will be until 9 p.m. today with family greeting friends from 6:30 to 8 p.m. at Broadway Colonial Funeral Home. Funeral service will be 10 a.m. Saturday at the Family Christian Center in Newton with Pastor Wayne Graham officiating. Burial will be in Restlawn Gardens of Memory. Memorials have been established with Family Christian Center for Youthville Ministries in care of the funeral home.
