Description	:	Dale K. Hutchinson, 94, of Sterling, died Wednesday, May 10, 2000, at home. A memorial service will be held at 10:30 a.m., Wednes day, May 17 at the First Presbyterian Church in Sterling. Dale Hutchinson was born Nov. 5, 1905 in Ruskin, Neb. to Rollo and Mamie (Winslow) Hutchinson. He grew up in Nelson, Neb., graduating from high school there. Dale Hutchinson was born Nov. 5, 1905 in Ruskin, Neb. to Rollo and Mamie (Winslow) Hutchinson. He grew up in Nelson, Neb., graduating from high school there. Dale attended watch making school at Bradley Institute of Technology in Peoria, Ill. In 1927 he married Rosella King in Cottonwood Falls,Kan. and soon after, moved to Sterling. He bought into a store partnership known as Graham-Hutchinson Jewelry. Rosella died in 1931. In 1934, he married Marie Peterson, a schoolteacher, in Sterling. He continued the Hutchinson Jewelry business on Main Street for many years. He was a charter member of the Jaycees and served on the City Council in the late 1940s. He was a member of the First Presbyterian Church and a life member of the Sterling Elks Lodge No. 1336. After retirement in the late 1960s, Dale and Marie traveled extensively. He enjoyed hunting, fishing and sports. Marie died in 1993. In later years, "Hutch" was a regular at Sterling's coffee shops visiting with friends, and will be remembered for his ever-present sense of humor. Dale is survived by his children, Don Hutchinson and wife Arlene of Yakima, Wash., Bob Hutchinson and wife Tammie of Fort Collins, and Sandra Ils and husband Bill of Sterling; six grandchildren, Sue Whitney of Sterling, Lisa Bohm of Rupert, Idaho, Kristina Hutchinson of Yakima, John Hutchinson of Severance, Jeff Hutchinson and Jaime Hutchinson of Fort Collins; and six great-grand children, Jack, Sam and Bill Whitney, and Kristin, Eric and Cody Bohm. Memorial contributions may be made to St. Anthony School or to the First Presbyterian Church Scholarship Fund, in care of Bohlender Funeral Chapel, 121 West Olive, Fort Collins, CO 80524.
