Reck Funeral Home in Miller is in charge of arrangements. Dale Roger Campbell was born August 25, 1936 at his home in Hiland Township to Orville "Jack" and Irene (Kane) Campbell. He attended Horseshoe Bend School through the 8th grade, but due to his father's passing he did not continue his education, instead he stayed home to help support his family. In 1958, he joined the National Guard. He married Sharon Alayne McCool February 4, 1959. They have lived in St. Lawrence since 1971. He was employed as a sheep shearer and with various ranching operations throughout the area. He was presently employed at Beckett Ranch. He was very active with his family and hobbies, which included horse pulling and his pets. The following were blessed to share in his live, his wife Sharon of St. Lawrence; three daughters, Staci June Campbell of Milwaukee Ore., Traci Alayne (Elmer) Zoss of Mitchell and Laurilynn Ann (Chad) Forman of Ree Heights; four sons, Dale Allen (Karla) of Oregon City, Ore., William Clark "Billy" (Sue) of Miller, Eugene Robyn (Lisa) of Portland, Ore., Darrin Rodger (Shirley) of West Linn, Ore.,; two sisters, Valores (Larry) Hewitt of Oregon City, Ore., Velma (Gordon) Bennett of Huron; three brothers, Spencer (Lorna) Campbell of Clarkston, Wash., Garland (Karen) Campbell of Royse City, Texas, Gary (Betty) Campbell of Cottonwood, Idaho; one sister-in-law, Donna Campbell of Hamburg, Ore.; twelve grandchildren, one great-grandchild; and several nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents; a brother, LeRoy; a grandson, J.D. Meyer; and a granddaughter, Roxi Zoss. Kevin and Scotty Parmely guided their little horses from the church to the G.A.R. Cemetery. The funeral was held November 7.
