Read More	The Nelson Gazette (Nelson, NE), Thursday, September 9, 2004; pg. 10 Dallas Albert Langer, the son of Carl Phillip and Bertha Wilma (Vale) Langer, was born on January 8, 1932 near Montrose, KS. He passed away on September 2, 2004 at Brodstone Memorial Hospital in Superior, NE at the age of 72 years, 8 months and 26 days. Dallas was baptized in 1942 in Superior. He attended Valley View grade school and graduated from Superior High School. He served in the United States Army. He was a 55 years member of the United Methodist Church, Superior, NE. Dallas was previously employed with the Superior Cooperative Association. He was a member of the Superior Elks Lodge #2197 and the Superior American Legion Post. Preceding him in death were his parents and a nephew, Michael Langer. Survivors include his brother, Frank and wife Bonnie of Superior, NE and sister Mona Mueller and husband Dale of Hastings, NE; nieces, nephews other relatives and a host of friends. Funeral services were held on Monday, September 6, 2004 from the Megrue-Price Funeral Home Chapel in Superior, NE with Pastor Dorthea Fairbanks officiating. Organist was Carlita Erickson. Pallbearers were Todd Boyles, Larry Langer, Jay Sorensen, Rex Mueller, Alan Mueller, and Ryan Mueller. Honorary pallbearers were Melissa, Katie and Mary Beth Surface, Brennan, Callie and Brett Boyles, Leslie Mueller, Jenna and Lacy Langer, Logan and Rachel Mueller and Jacob and Jayden Sorensen. Interment was in the Evergreen Cemetery at Superior, NE. Memorials may be given to the United Methodist Church, Superior, NE.
