Description	:	CONCERNING MRS. WILLIAM JACOB Mrs. William Jacob, who died January 3, at the family home near Neosho Rapids, was born Attica, IN., April 18, 1850. Her parents, Mr. and Mrs. Samuel Ogden and family, moved to Kansas in 1857, and settled on a farm near Neosho Rapids. Here she grew to womanhood, and in 1872 she was married to William Jacob. Read More	CONCERNING MRS. WILLIAM JACOB Mrs. William Jacob, who died January 3, at the family home near Neosho Rapids, was born Attica, IN., April 18, 1850. Her parents, Mr. and Mrs. Samuel Ogden and family, moved to Kansas in 1857, and settled on a farm near Neosho Rapids. Here she grew to womanhood, and in 1872 she was married to William Jacob. To this union eight children were born, two of whom died in infancy. The remaining children are Edgar R., of Reading; Samuel C. and Joseph C.,of Emporia; Amos M. of Ottawa; Elmer William and Mabel, who live at home. Besides her children, Mrs. Jacob leaves three sisters and three brothers. They are Mrs. E.M. Harper, Mrs Laura E Snow, Mrs Frances Schaefer,a Quincy Ogden, of California, and M.D. Odgen and J.M. Ogden, of Arkansas. Mrs. Jacob was a woman of beautiful Christian character, and throughout her lingering illness was patient and kind. The funeral was held from the home and the interment made in the Neosho Raids cemetery. *************** *Children who died in infancy were Otis Jacob 1888-1889 and Clarence L 1873-1874
