The deceased was born in Wedgeport. Fatherless and motherless at the age of 10, he was adopted by his uncle Augustin LeBlanc of St. Alphonse where he remained all of his life until two years ago, when he and his wife moved to Mayflower with their daughter, Mrs. Elie Saulnier. He leaves to mourn his wife, born Evangéline Gaudet, originally from St. Bernard; a daughter, Mrs. Saulnier, Anne of Mayflower; a son, Louis of St. Alphonse. Two other children, Dora and Thérèse died several years ago. The funeral was held on Thursday morning, April 30th, at St. Alphonse Church. Rev. Father Joseph Louis Comeau, priest, officiated. The pallbearers were Philippe Comeau, Delphis Boudreau, Elie, Eugène, Siffroi and Joseph Saulnier. The singing was directed by Mr. Vincent Maillet and Mr. Victor Deveau of Meteghan led the mourning.
