Dana was born June 5, 1968, the daughter of Mrs. Mable Robinson and the late Milton S. Robinson, she grew up in the Wesley Chapel community and graduated from Sun Valley High School. Survivors include her husband of 20 years, Marshall Kelly Britt Jr.; her children, Justin, John, Katie, Jamie, Samuel and infant Jack all of the home; Mother, Mable Robinson of Monroe, N.C.; sisters, Bonnie Austin of Weddington, N.C.; Debbie Davis of Huntersville, N.C.; and brothers, Wayne Robinson and Dale Robinson, both of Monroe, N.C. Dana always had a pleasant disposition, a quick wit, and she never met a stranger. She could hold a conversation with anyone. She also had artistic talent which she has passed on to her children. Dana was a loving wife and mother; she always put her children first, and her greatest joy was spending time with her family. She loved cooking, quilting and scrapbooking. But more than anything else, she loved getting hugs and kisses from her sweet children; she truly loved being a stay-at-home Mother. Proverbs 31:27 & 28 'She looketh well to the ways of her household, and eateth not the bread of idleness. Her children arise up, and call her blessed; her husband also, and he praiseth her.' Visitation for Dana will be 1:00 until 2:00 P.M. Wednesday, December 2, 2009 in the fellowship hall of Siler Presbyterian Church. Services to celebrate the life of Dana will follow in the church sanctuary at 2:00 P.M. with Reverend Bruce Powell officiating. Interment will follow in the church cemetery. The family requests in lieu of flowers, memorials be made to the Britt Children's Education Fund, 431 Hunting Creek Rd., Matthews N.C. 28104. McEwen Funeral and Cremation Service of Monroe is serving the family of Mrs. Britt.
