Description	:	D.A. Page, one of the old settlers of Hardy, passed away at the Superior hospital last night, after an illness of two weeks, although his health has been failing fast for over a year. "Uncle Dan," as he was called by nearly everyone, was perhaps the best known man in this part of the state and was respected by all. Page, one of the old settlers of Hardy, passed away at the Superior hospital last night, after an illness of two weeks, although his health has been failing fast for over a year. "Uncle Dan," as he was called by nearly everyone, was perhaps the best known man in this part of the state and was respected by all. In the early days here he bought and sold stock all over this country. During President Wilson's administration Mr. Page received the appointment as postmaster, a position he held for twelve years. As postmaster he never missed an opportunity to accommodate the patrons of the office. Since his term of office expired Mr. Page has conducted a news and stationery store. He was loved and respected by the entire community. Funeral services will be held at Superior Friday afternoon, burial in the Superior cemetery.
