Daniel Chester Walker was born August 22, 1951 in Estherville, Iowa the son of Chester and Martha (Klocko) Walker. As a child, he was baptized and later confirmed into the Lutheran faith at Emanuel-St.John Lutheran Church in Lytton. Growing up, Daniel attended school in Lytton. Daniel Chester Walker was born August 22, 1951 in Estherville, Iowa the son of Chester and Martha (Klocko) Walker. As a child, he was baptized and later confirmed into the Lutheran faith at Emanuel-St.John Lutheran Church in Lytton. Growing up, Daniel attended school in Lytton. He graduated from Lytton High School in 1970. On June 28, 1970 Daniel was united in marriage to Bonnie Dusing at Emanuel-St. John Lutheran Church in Lytton. Together they were blessed with two children: Charissa and Cory. Daniel spent most of his life as a Livestock Feed Specialist. He had a passion for his job, and his customers knew they could always count on him. Many friendships were made throughout the years. Dan was an avid sports fan. He loved watching the Iowa State Cyclones and attending games with his family. He also was a big fan of the Kansas City Chiefs and Royals. As a child, Dan was quite the athlete. Being one game away from the Little League World Series was a great memory of Dan's. Dan will be remembered as a family man. He enjoyed spending time with his wife, children, and grandchildren. He especially liked watching his grandchildren in their sporting events. He will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved him. Those left to cherish his memory include his wife, Bonnie Walker of Fonda, Iowa; children: Charissa (Mitch) Mueller and their children: Tyler, Chance, and Corbin Saathoff of Cylinder, Iowa; Cory (Courtney) Walker and their children: Maggie, Mary, and Mia Walker of Fonda, Iowa; sisters: Sharon Wattonville of Sac City, Iowa; Jane Walker-Overholser of Ankeny, Iowa; parents-in-law, Jim and Doris Dusing of Fonda, Iowa; brothers and sisters-in-law: Shirley, Emily, Jane, Paula, and Steve and their families; many nieces, nephews, cousins, extended family and friends. Dan was preceded in death by his parents; brothers-in-law: Doug Engel and Ron Overholser; sister-in-law, Teresa Tischer, and nephew, Michael Stauter.
