Description	:	Daniel was the 3rd of 9 children born to Daniel and Phoebe (Ayers) Sickels. Daniel married Mary Ann Taylor in 1827. He was 24, and she was 16. They would have 16 children, before she died in 1852, age 41. He married Louisa Gregg, in 1854. He was 54, and she was 24. The 1900 census said she had 11 children, but only found records for 8 children.
