Read More	Henry Loe dies Saturday night Daniel Henry Loe , a native of Columbia township and a life long resident of this township, died at 10:30 o'clock Saturday night after, a long illness of tuberculosis. Mr. Loe was up and around his home until a half hour before his death. He retired at 10 o'clock Saturday night and expired thirty minutes later. Since last Monday he had not gone to bed, getting his rest while asleep in an armchir. The deceased was born on Febuary 24, 1888, and was the son of david and Caroline Tantlinger-Loe. On October 1, 1913, he was united in marriage to Dawn Whitman. He is survived by his widow; one daughter, May aged 11; and the following brothersand sisters: Mrs. Lydia Inks and George Loe of this city; Charles of Peru; Mrs. Charles Eissele and Firmer Loe of Columbia township; Mrs. Valentine Wagner of near South Whitley; Mrs. Omar Whitman of this city; Mrs. William Harper of New Haven; and Mrs. Cecil Truman of Columbia City. He was preceded in death by a child who died in infancy, his father and his mother who passed away four months ago Saturday. Mr. Loe was a member of the Moose Lodge here. He possessed many friends and acqaintances in the county and was held in hihg esteem by all who knew him. The funeral cortege will leave the home in southwest Columbia township at 10 o'clock Tuesday morning for the Eberhard church where the last rites will be held for the deceased. Rev. J.S. Blank of Grace Lutheran Church, this city, will be the officiating minister. Burial will be made in Mr. Loe was head of the Moose order here for eight years and was highly respected by the members of the lodge for his untiring efforts as their head. Mr. Loe resigned from his fraternal office two and one-half years ago because of ill health. Last rites for Henry Loe-F.G. Binder and Wm. Littlefield-Many at Binder funeral. The funeral of Henry Loe was held Tuesday morning at 10:30 o'clock at the Eberhard church, Rev. J.B. Blank conducted the services and burial was in the South Park Cemetery. Mrs. O. W. Dare, Mrs. Hendrickson and Mrs. Owen Clark furnished the music. The pallbearers were: Russell lancaster, Henry Holtman, Ralph Reese, Cecil Gradeless, Amiel Auer and Trauty Briggeman.
