Dan and Marilyn lived in Atlantic, Greenfield, Des Moines, Indianola and moved to Osceola in 1966. Dan served in the Iowa Highway Patrol for 34 years, retiring as Post 2 Commander in Osceola in 1981. Dan was a member of the Lions Club and the Indianola Country Club. He was a member of the Presbyterian Church in Osceola. Those relatives who preceded Daniel in death were his parents, Lyle and Della Foster, son, David Huston Foster, and his in-laws, Hazel and Harold Pete Lewis. Daniel leaves to cherish his memory; wife, Marilyn Jeanne Foster of Osceola, IA, daughter, Mary (Mike) Dodson and grandson Sean all of Osceola, IA, brother, Paul (Dorothy) Foster of Indianola; sister, Virginia Cantrell of Billings, MT; granddaughter, Andrea Foster, grandson, Richard Foster, great grandchildren, Nathan and Christopher all of Indiana, as well as other relatives and many friends.
