Mary was apparently, according to resources I can find, his niece, the daughter of Joseph Jenckes Jr and Esther Ballard Jenckes, but I am skeptical of this. Children(by first marriage): Mary Jenckes Weatherhead, Elizabeth Jenckes Hopkins, Abigail Jenckes, Martha Jenckes Arnold Aldrich, Susannah Jenckes Hopkins, Daniel Jenckes Jr, Hannah Jenckes Ruttenberg, Ruth Jenckes Whipple, and Joseph Jenckes.
