His death was caused by a stroke when he fell from a chair, after having the measles. His mother, Mrs. Dillon, will be remembered as Eunice McClure, daughter of Charles McClure of Cedar Rapids. Services were held at the Catholic church in Alliance Thursday morning, March 14, with Monsignor Manning in charge. Among those attending the funeral from away were Mr. and Mrs. [illegible] McClure, and Mrs. John Mahoney, Jr. and daughter, Marilyn, of Cedar Rapids; Richard Mahoney, of Omaha; and Mr. and Mrs. Arnold Kennedy of Loretto.
