He still holds three school football records of most career yards passing (2604), most career touchdown passes (26) and most career passes completed (147). He married Gail, and they were blessed with two daughters and a son, as well as their sons-in-law and daughter-in-law, and 4 grandchildren. Family will receive friends 5-7 pm Thursday at West Center Chapel, 7805 West Center Road, Omaha, Nebraska. Mass of Christian Burial 10 am Friday at St. Bellarmine Catholic Church, Omaha, Nebraska.
