The deceased was a son of the late Oliver and Lucinda (Routzahn) Michael, of near Myersville. He was born and reared in Myersville district but moved to near Boonsboro some years ago. He was widely known in the contracting and carpenter business and had a wide circle of friends. He was a member of South Mountain Council No. 88, Jr. O. U.A.M., Boonsboro. He is survived by his wife, Mrs. Lettie V. Michael and two daughters, Mrs. Harry Stouffer, Appletown and Mrs. Earl Kefauver, near Boonsboro; one son Earl W. Michael, Appletown; 10 grandchildren, two great-grandchildren and one sister, Mrs. Mollie Butts, Middletown. Funeral Monday afternoon leaving the house at 3:30 o'clock with services at the United Brethren church in Boonsboro conducted by Revs. Frank L. Stine and P. Dewey Ritter. Interment Boonsboro cemetery. Members of the Junior order will act as pallbearers. William F. Bast and Son, Boonsboro, funeral directors.
