Description	:	Dannie was born on July 11, 1884 in Carryall Township, Paulding County, Ohio. He was the son of Levi and Olive Irena (Foster) Burley. Dannie's occupation was farming. Lottie and Dannie started housekeeping in Indiana, Near St. Joe. This is where the first five children were born. In March of 1921 the family moved to Milford Township, Defiance County, Ohio. Read More	Dannie was born on July 11, 1884 in Carryall Township, Paulding County, Ohio. He was the son of Levi and Olive Irena (Foster) Burley. Dannie's occupation was farming. Lottie and Dannie started housekeeping in Indiana, Near St. Joe. This is where the first five children were born. In March of 1921 the family moved to Milford Township, Defiance County, Ohio. They lived on lake Road on the "Debel" farm. They lost their young son Eldean while living here. Next, they lived on the Kline farm, the O. Wilder farm and then the Building and Loan farm on the stone road (Rt.#2). Lottie and Dannie had six Children: Pauline, Burline, Ernest, Mary, Fred and Maxine. --- Dannie suffered from the chicken pox, which left him in poor health. He developed "Bright's Disease" which was caused by the chicken pox. Dannie passed away Dec 31, 1937 in their home on the Dickerhoof farm near Hicksville, Ohio. --- Dannie was 53 years, 5 months, and 12 days young. Cause: Bright's disease. Dannie was laid to rest in the Forest Home Cemetery in Hicksville, Ohio, beside their young son. (Defiance County Death Records)
