Description	:	Danny Lee Naber was born to his loving parents Myron Alvin and Minerva E. (Porter) Naber on Sunday July 14, 1946 on a farm south of Scribner, Dodge County Nebraska. Danny was baptized at St. John's Ridgeley Lutheran Church of Scribner. Danny was a Sunday school student for thirteen years, he was confirmed on June 5, 1960, and was a Luther League member. Read More	Danny Lee Naber was born to his loving parents Myron Alvin and Minerva E. (Porter) Naber on Sunday July 14, 1946 on a farm south of Scribner, Dodge County Nebraska. Danny was baptized at St. John's Ridgeley Lutheran Church of Scribner. Danny was a Sunday school student for thirteen years, he was confirmed on June 5, 1960, and was a Luther League member. Danny attended two country elementary schools, districts 38 and 35. Danny served as the Shining Horn 4-H Club secretary. At the time of Danny's death he was in his first weeks of his junior year at Scribner High, he played a cornet in the High School Band. Danny was a passenger in a two tone green and white 1956 Buick when he was fatally injured. The Buick was broad-sided by another vehicle on a country gravel crossroad just below the top of a hill on Herman / Scribner Road. Danny, his friend Rodger Allen Hasemann, and the second vehicle occupants were all members at the St. Paul Lutheran Church of Hooper, Dodge County. It was a very sad time for the small country community church. Sadly Danny passed that Sunday afternoon September 16, 1962 around three in the afternoon, he was too young to die. Danny passed at the age of 16 years, 2 months, 2 days which does not include his last day, he lived a total of 5,908 days. Danny's funeral service was held Tuesday afternoon September 18, 1962 at the St. Paul Lutheran Church with Rev. LeRoy Dobbe officiating. Danny was interred in the church cemetery in plot 114. The Wollmer and Warne Funeral Home of Hooper was in charge of his arrangements. Danny's information was provided from researching many resources and my memory. This biography was created as an honor to Danny by a friend Loren R. I believe all lives matter, even the lives of those who have passed. Danny, you left us fifty nine years ago. I still recall that Sunday September afternoon when the "56" Buick you was a passenger in was broadsided. You lost your life at the age of sixteen, Loren.
