Visitation will be all day on Friday with the family present at the funeral home from 6:30 p.m. until 8 p.m. She was born August 10,1921 in Sulphur Springs, Iowa to Herman and Katie (Goettsch) Caboth. She graduated from Aurelia High School in 1939 She attended Buena Vista College where she received her teaching certificate She taught country school in Afton Township for a few years. She was married to Vere T Corrington on June 3,1942 in Cherokee, Iowa. She had lived on a farm southwest of Cherokee the past 30 years, prior to this on a farm in Spring Township. She was a member of St. Paul's United Methodist Church, the Quimby Garden Club, the W.A.C. Club, was very active in 4-H for many years and was leader of the Cavaliers. She enjoyed horses, flowers and gardening. She e was preceded in death by her parents. She is survived by her husband, Vere, one daughter and three sons: Janice D. Witcombe and her husband Ronald of Cherokee; Michael T. Corrington and his wife Lianne of Camilla, Georgia; Robert Dean Corrington of Wilmington, North Carolina; Douglas V. Corrington and his wife Stacy of Hastings, Minnesota; five grandchildren: Lori L. Witcombe of Sioux Falls, S.D.; Bart T. Corrington of Tallahassee, Florida, Tyler and Dillon Corrington of Hastings, Minnesota; Jonathan Sipe of Camilla. Georgia; one brother and two sisters: Desel and Sallie Caboth of Alta, Iowa, Alverda and Adrian Kline of San Antonio, Texas; Mavis and Marlyn Schumann of Newell, Iowa, a sister-in-law: Sally Corrington of Cherokee, Iowa.
