Read More	Darlene Mae Henderson Darlene Mae Henderson, daughter of Henry Adrian and Grace C. (Piel) Seeman, was born May 8, 1933, at Blue Hill. She died on Sunday, February 17, 2002, at her home in Blue Hill at the age of 68 years, 9 months and 9 days. Funeral services will be held Thursday, February 21, at 11:00 a.m., from Trinity Lutheran Church with Pastor James Witt officiating. The taped musical selections will be “No More Pain” and “Wind Beneath My Wings.” The congregational hymn will be “It is Well with My Soul.” Vickie Lehr will sing “Amazing Grace.” Alvin Willems will be organist. The casketbearers will be Dan Hunter, Terry Jordening, Kyle Hunter, Kory Hunter, Kelly Hunter and Joshua Henderson. The honorary casketbearers will be Mindy Jordening, Cassie Henderson, Tyson Jordening, Chase Henderson, Kris Hunter, Kameron Hunter, Trenton Jordening and Chelsey Henderson. Interment will be in the Blue Hill Cemetery Darlene received her formal education attending the Trinity Lutheran parochial school and the Blue Hill High School. She was united in marriage with Ivan Wayne Henderson on March 25, 1951 at Blue Hill. This union was blessed with three children, Dennis, Connie and Kayleen. Ivan’s work took them to a number of communities, including Hastings; Duncan, Oklahoma; and Farmington, New Mexico. From 1959-1968 they lived in Kimball, moving to Gillette, Wyoming, where they resided until 1971, when they moved to Brighton, Colorado. In 1976, they returned to Blue Hill to make their home where they managed the motel for three years. Darlene had also worked with Monforts and at Jordening’s Body Shop. Darlene was a member of the Trinity Lutheran Church. In her leisure time, Darlene enjoyed gardening and working in the yard. She always enjoyed the company of friends and a card game. Her greatest love and enthusiasm in life was for her family. She especially treasured time spent with her grandchildren and following their participation in sports. Preceding her in death were her parents and two brothers, Darrel and Robert Seeman. She is survived by her husband Ivan; her children, Dennis Henderson and wife Kim of Blue Hill; Connie Hunter and husband Dan of Gillette, Wyoming, and Kay Jordening and husband Terry of Blue Hill; 12 grandchildren; one sister, Phyllis Meyer and husband Vernon of Blue Hill; and one brother, Donald Seeman and wife Kathy of Blue Hill.
