Read More	Darrell Eugene McClure, 79, of Bloomfield, Iowa died February 16, 2011 at the Davis County Hospital in Bloomfield. He was born January 30, 1932 in Davis County, Iowa to Ralph P. and Sarah E. Thomas McClure. He married Roberta Hogue September 18, 1955 in Eldon, Iowa. Darrell served in the United States Army during the Korean War. He was a farmer, worked as a truck driver in Chicago, worked at BIMCO for 20 years, and as a county road foreman in Davis County for 11 years. He was a member of the Cattle, Sheep and Hog Producers, NRA, VFW #775 of Naperville, Illinois, American Legion Post #78 of Bloomfield, Ottumwa Lodge #16 A.F. & A.M., past President and member of the Davis County Fair Board for 39 years and was a 4-H leader. Darrell served as a volunteer fireman for Floris, Iowa and was also a township trustee. He was a member of the Dunnville Baptist Church where he was a Deacon and trustee. He is survived by his wife; two sons, Jeff(Kyle)McClure of Bloomfield, Iowa, Darrin(Sandra)McClure of Fairfield, Iowa; two daughters, Donita(Todd)Forsythe of St. Louis, Missouri, Danielle Borland of Lincoln, Nebraska; nine grandchildren; two great-grandchildren; several nieces and nephews, and great-great nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents; two brothers, Ernest and Vernon McClure; and four sisters, Mildred Benge, Dolly McClure, Maxine Evans, and Verna McClure. Funeral services will be at 10:30 an on Tuesday, February 22, 2011 at the Wagler Funeral Home in Bloomfield with Pastor Marvin Martin officiating. Burial with graveside military rites performed by Reed-Whisler Post #78 of the American Legion in Bloomfield will be at the Dunnville Cemetery in Davis County. Visitation will begin after 9 am on Monday with Masonic Services performed by Ottumwa Lodge #16 A.F. & A.M. at 4:30 pm followed by family visitation until 7 pm at the funeral home. Memorials have been established to the Dunnville Baptist Church and the Davis County Fair Board.
