Description	:	Darren Scott Christian, 28, of Tacoma, passed away on February 8, 2006. Darren was born March 8, 1977 in Tacoma to Gerald and Kathryn (Akerill) Christian. He grew up and attended school in Selah. After high school, he worked for several local companies and in 1998 he was transferred to Tacoma by the cable communications company he worked for in Yakima. Read More	Darren Scott Christian, 28, of Tacoma, passed away on February 8, 2006. Darren was born March 8, 1977 in Tacoma to Gerald and Kathryn (Akerill) Christian. He grew up and attended school in Selah. After high school, he worked for several local companies and in 1998 he was transferred to Tacoma by the cable communications company he worked for in Yakima. In recent years he worked in housing construction, and most recently as a dry wall taper. Friends and family will remember his love for life, passion to try all that was new, his nerves of steel and heart of gold. He will forever be remembered as an amazing son, brother, and friend. His smile would light up a room, and his stories always brought laughter. He loved to listen to music, dance, ride his motorcycle, play with his dog Snapper, snowboard, and spend time with his family and extended family, which included everyone he ever met. He was preceded in death by his grandfather Milton Akerill, and his brother Dana Christian. He is survived by his parents, Jerry and Kathy Christian of Selah, his brother Chris Jones and nephew Royal Jones of Moxee; his grandparents Dave and Faye Christian of Ellensburg, Helen Akerill of Vancouver, WA; and numerous aunts, uncles, cousins and friends. Graveside services will be held at 3 PM Monday February 13th at Terrace Heights Memorial Park. Those attending should meet at the cemetery. He will be deeply missed.
