Description	:	Gerald E. (Jerry) Christian died very unexpectedly from a massive heart attack September 5th, 2016. Jerry was born in Ellensburg, WA on November 2nd, 1943. He graduated from Ellensburg High School in 1962 and attended CWU before being drafted into the US Army in 1965. Shortly after his return he met his wife to be, Kathy Akeril. They were married in 1968. In 1969 Jerry started his electrical apprenticeship with IBEW Local 112. He worked as a Journeyman wireman in the Yakima area for 37 years. Jerry was born in Ellensburg, WA on November 2nd, 1943. He graduated from Ellensburg High School in 1962 and attended CWU before being drafted into the US Army in 1965. Shortly after his return he met his wife to be, Kathy Akeril. They were married in 1968. In 1969 Jerry started his electrical apprenticeship with IBEW Local 112. Jerry was known for being kind, generous and always putting others before himself. His greatest joy in life was making people laugh. Jerry is survived by his wife, Kathy, son, Chris (Colleen) Jones, grandchildren, Royal and Makayla, mother, Faye Christian, sister, Joan (Tom) Stern, and many nieces and nephews. He is preceded in death by two sons, Dana and Darren Christian, father, Davy Christian, and brother, Ronald Christian. Graveside Services will be held, at Terrace Heights Memorial Park on Saturday, September 10 at 10:00 am. A reception will follow the service at 7511 Bell Rd., Moxee.
