Description	:	KNOB NOSTER, Mo. - David A. Olson, 38, of Knob Noster, Mo., formerly of Huron, died Sunday, April 6, 1997, at Warrensburg Hospital in Warrensburg, Mo. The funeral will be at 1:30 p.m. Thursday at Congregational United Church of Christ in Huron, with the Rev. Mark Gustafson officiating. Burial will be in Restlawn Memory Gardens Cemetery at Huron. David Allen Olson was born May 6, 1958 to Allen and Betty Olson in Huron. He grew up in Wolsey, graduating from Wolsey High School in 1976. He graduated from Watertown Vo Tech in 1978. In 1978, he married Jean Gebhart in Elkton. They live in Sioux Falls, where he was employed by Spitznagel Inc. from 1979 to 1991. While he was in Sioux Falls, he taught architectural drafting for a year at Southeast Area Vo Tech. Since 1992, he was employed at Whiteman Air Force Base on the Saber Project and P.I. Construction in Knob Noster. He was a guitarist and lead singer in several country bands, including Plain Stranger in Sioux Falls, and most recently, Scoot Roosters in Knob Noster. He is survived by two sons and a daughter, Michael, Matthew and Jennifer, all of Elkton; his parents of Huron; a sister, Deb Strawhacker of Hutchinson, Kan.; three nieces; a grandfather, Rubin Bittner of Huron; a special friend, Pamela Coffey of Knob Noster; and aunts, uncles and cousins. He was preceded in death by his grandparents, Bernard and Veulah Olson and Waneta Bittner, and a cousin. Pallbearers will be his cousins, Lanny, Robin, Randy, Scott and Reed Olson, and Jeff Miller.
