He had been in his usual health until a week ago, when he became very feeble and bedfast. He was born in Ohio, and was 80 years of age at his death. Read More	Columbia City Post, Whitley County, Indiana February 4, 1911 David Arnett, one of the aged pioneers of Cleveland Township, residing near Tunker, died at 12:15 Thursday morning, after an illness of a week, from complications of old age. He had been in his usual health until a week ago, when he became very feeble and bedfast. He was born in Ohio, and was 80 years of age at his death. He came to this County at an early age and was a farmer all his life. His wife died nine years ago [12 yrs] and he is survived by four daughters and two sons; Mrs. Lewis Mishler and Mrs. John Sherbahn, of Cleveland Township; Mrs. Arthur Keller, Harvey, and Joseph Arnett, of South Whitley, and Mrs. John Strobel, Bippus. No brothers and no sisters survive. The deceased was well known and highly regarded by the community in which he lived for a life time. The funeral will occur Saturday, meeting at the home at 9 o'clock and the funeral sermon at the Brethren Church. Interment at the Eberhard Cemetery.
