Hanna, 35, of Sulphur Springs, who died late Friday afternoon in the State Sanatorium at Booneville, following a year’s illness. Services will be conducted by the Rev. Kirby Ingram, Baptist minister. He was born at Sulphur Springs on March 13, 1906, the son of the late Squire Henry and Emma Hanna of Sulphur Springs. He received his education at Watson Chapel and Alexander University at Alexander, Va. After completing his education he accepted a position with Woodard and Lothrop Department Co., at Washington, D. C. In 1931 he went to Houston, Tex., where he was connected with the Houston Textile Co. He returned to Pine Bluff two years ago and started farming at Sulphur Springs. He is survived by his widow, the former Hazel McKenzie, to whom he was married on Dec. 13, 1931, at Sulphur Springs two children, Janice and Celia Ann; three brothers, Earl Hanna of Houston, John Hanna of Birmingham, Ala., and Vernon Hanna of Dallas, Texas; and one sister, Mrs. Hope Seymore of Pine Bluff. The body was brought to Pine Bluff by Ralph Robinson and Son Mortuary. Funeral arrangements had not been completed last night. Burial will be in Fitzhugh cemetery in charge of Ralph Robinson and Son Mortuary. Active pallbearers will be: Cleve Ferguson, Henry Petty, Bennie Bob Watson, Stewart Petty, Donald Raymick, Joe Bailey, Willie West, and Lone Watson. Honorary: Martin O’Connell, Ben Watson, Will Watson, John Watson, Willie Raymick, and Gus Petty.
