At the age of 2 years, he moved with his parents near Oskaloosa. He was united in marriage to Mary Ethel Morgan October 17, 1897 at Valley Falls. To this union was born three sons. He leaves to mourn their loss his sons, Millard Ellsworth of El Paso, Texas, Homer Vernon, of Rock Creek and Donald of the home; one sister; Mrs. Ella Deshazer, of Burlingame; one aunt, Mrs. Eliza Bledsoe, of Ozawkie; two grandchildren, Glyn and Jean Weaver, of El Paso, other relatives and many friends. The funeral was held at U.B. Church at Rock Creek afternoon with burial in the Valley Falls Cemetery. The comforting hymns were sung by Mrs. Paul Life, Mrs. Edith Denner, Carl Puderbaugh and Wallace Friffitts, accompanied by Mrs. Percy Egner at the piano. The pallbearers were Messrs, Frank Johnston, Bill Win Fleming, Elbert Richard, Joe Kane and Emmert Watson. The funeral service was conducted by Rev. Paul Life.
