The remains were brought here for burial arriving Sunday morning. Funeral services were conducted at the home at 2 p.m. Sunday by Rev. J.E. Brereton and the interment made in Evergreen cemetery. Mr. Gaston was a farmer. He was 41 years of age and leaves a wife and one little son. He has been in poor health for about two years though very ill for the past few months. He never resided here. Besides his wife and son, his mother, four sisters, Mrs. R.P. Henderson, Mrs. Mary Colston, and Misses Jean and Fanny Gaston of this place, Mrs. Cuthberson of La Selle, Illinois, and three brothers, John who resides here, Alexander of Oklahoma and Robert of Portland, Oregon survive him. To them we extend sincere sympathy. The cause of his death was heart trouble. His remains were brought to this city arriving Sunday morning. The funeral was held from the Gaston home at 2 o'clock. Rev. J.E. Brereton conducting them. These services consisted of the reading of a scripture lesson and the offering of prayer. The remains were interred in Evergreen cemetery. The deceased was forty-one years old and leaves a wife and an adopted son. Besides these he leaves six sisters. Miss Sadie Gaston, Miss Gune [June] Gaston, Miss Fanny Gaston, Mrs. R.P. Henderson of this city and Mrs. William Cuthbertson of LaSalle, Ill., and Mrs. Mary Coulson. He leaves an aged mother, Mrs. Gaston of this city and three brothers, John of this city, Alexander of Oklahoma and Robert of Portland, Oregon.
