He was born January 4, 1960 in Davenport, Iowa to Gary and Betty Sue Couch Casady. He grew up in Bloomfield, Iowa which was his hometown the rest of his life. He graduated from Davis County High School in 1978 and in the following years was employed at Plexco and later Bimco, Inc. In 1980, he married Alisa Link and became father to Kevin Link who he loved as his own. He is survived by his mother, Betty Casady of Bloomfield; brother, Duane Casady of Fayette, Missouri; son, Kevin (Fallon) Link of Bloomfield; and three grandchildren, Nivek, Nevaeh, and Nalani Link. He was preceded in death by his father, Gary in 2011; grandparents, Nile and Mabel Casady, Erma and Gene Guthrie; and his beloved dog, Buffy. Open visitation will be from 12-7:00 p.m. on Wednesday, July 22, 2020 at the Wagler Funeral Home in Bloomfield. A private burial will be at Church of Christ Cemetery in Bible Grove, Missouri. In lieu of flowers, a memorial has been established to Bible Grove Church of Christ Cemetery.
