Description	:	VEINOTTE, David Leroy - 61, Aylesford, passed away peacefully with his family at his side on Sunday, September 28, 2008, in Valley Regional Hospital, Kentville. Born in East Dalhousie, he was a son of the late Harold and Violet (Zinck) Veinot. David was retired from Thompson's Transfer after 30 years of driving and continued to enjoy spending his time in the woods, hunting and fishing with his brother, Hartley. He was a huge fan of country music, was an avid collector, enjoyed woodworking and gardening, and was artistic in drawing and painting. He will be sadly missed by his lifelong... Read More	VEINOTTE, David Leroy - 61, Aylesford, passed away peacefully with his family at his side on Sunday, September 28, 2008, in Valley Regional Hospital, Kentville. Born in East Dalhousie, he was a son of the late Harold and Violet (Zinck) Veinot. David was retired from Thompson's Transfer after 30 years of driving and continued to enjoy spending his time in the woods, hunting and fishing with his brother, Hartley. He was a huge fan of country music, was an avid collector, enjoyed woodworking and gardening, and was artistic in drawing and painting. He will be sadly missed by his lifelong companion, Barb Veinotte (Naugler); children, David, Middleton; Douglas (Julie), Middleton; Denyse (Phillip Archibald), Lashburn, Sask.; stepdaughter, Debbie (Arthur) Crouse, Lashburn, Sask.; grandchildren, Tanya (Joe) Adams, Chelsea, Kate, Kyle, Matthew, Corey, AJ, Kayden and Lee Archibald; sisters, Ruth (Ronald) Aalders, Coldbrook; Geneva (John MacDonald), Nictaux Falls; brothers, Dale (Kaye), Kingston; Hartley (Myrna), Aylesford; Wade (Faye), Cambridge; as well as several nieces and nephews. Besides his parents, David was predeceased by grandparents; several aunts and uncles and one nephew. Cremation has taken place and no visitation by request. A graveside service will take place at 2 p.m. Friday, October 3, in Nictaux Cemetery with a reception to follow in Nictaux Fire Hall. In lieu of flowers, donations in memory may be made to the Canadian Liver Foundation, Halifax Chapter, or to a charity of choice
