He was born Nov. 4, 1938, in Sandusky to Maurice and Dorothy Federkiel Morrisey, who preceded him in death. On September 20, 1958 he married Jackie E. Moyer, who survives. Mr. Morrisey retired as a tool handler from Ford Motor Co. Lima Engine Plant, after more than 39 years. He was a member of United Auto Workers Local 1219, Orioles Nest 173 and Fraternal Order of Eagles Aerie 370, all in Lima, and the Cairo Sportsman Club, Cairo. He was an avid fan of The Ohio State University Buckeyes and Lima Senior High School Spartans. He enjoyed fishing, loved to spend time with his family and friends and loved to travel with his wife. He loved his dog Millie. Survivors also include two sons, Dean Alan Morrisey and Scott David (Michelle) Morrisey, both of LLima; two daughters, Susan M. (Mendel) Lambert, of Lima, and Stephanie M. (Chris Perault) Rosselitt, of Florida; two brothers, Robert Morrisey, of New York City and John (Linda) Morrisey, of Lima; two sisters, Lois Morrisey, of Lima, and Ruth Ann Spivey, of Las Vegas; six granddaughters, Shanna, Jessica, Sarah, Kaitlyn, Kylee and Raven; and four great-granddaughters, Anna-Marie, Gretchen, Marisaa and Alexis. He was preceded in death by a daughter, Debbie Brown; a brother, Richard Morrisey; and two sisters, Janice Shaefer and Betty Reese. Services will begin at 10:30 a.m. Friday at Chiles-Laman Funeral Home, Shawnee Chapel. Pastor Bill Cronk will officiate. Burial will be in Greenlawn Cemetery, Elida.
