Description	:	Stratford Courier May 21, 1925 OBITUARY The passing of David Anderson at the Eleanor Moore hospital in Boone last Saturday morning came as a real sad blow to the many friends of his family in this community for it was thought that he was getting along very nicely considering the seriousness of the operation which was performed a short time before his death. Read More	Stratford Courier May 21, 1925 OBITUARY The passing of David Anderson at the Eleanor Moore hospital in Boone last Saturday morning came as a real sad blow to the many friends of his family in this community for it was thought that he was getting along very nicely considering the seriousness of the operation which was performed a short time before his death. Death came as a direct result of peritonitis which set in about the middle of last week. Funeral services were conducted from the family residence southeast of Stratford Sunday and were in charge of Rev. E.H. Sandeen of Boone. Interment was made in the Mineral Ridge cemetery. David Olof Anderson was born on August 7, 1876, on the Anderson farm, the old home place, south of town and had always made his home on this farm which had been the home of his parents before him. He died May 16, 1925, having reached the age of 48 years, 4 months, 9 days. On March 9, 1900, he was united in marriage to Bessie A. Berglund and to them have been born seven children, three sons and four daughters, one of whom, a son, passed away in infancy. The living children are: Helen, Eileen, Mary and Eunice, Ernest and Leonard. These children together with the heartbroken wife and mother, are left to mourn the passing of a good and kindhearted father and a true and loving husband. Besides, he leaves four brothers, Peter, John, William and Luther, all of this community, to mourn his early passing. Deceased had always lived in this community and he was known here for his honesty and for his thriftyness. He was a hard working man who loved his home and planned for his family above everything else on earth. His passing came as a severe blow to his beloved ones as well as to his scores of neighbors and friends, who are doing all they can to alleviate the sorrows of the grief stricken wife and children.
