Description	:	David Frank 1944 (Bridgewater Bulletin) On Saturday morning, October 7th, David Frank passed peacefully away at the home of his daughter, Mrs. Ira Wentzell, at Maplewood. Mr. Frank had been in failing health for some time, but was not confined to his bed. He was suffering from a heart ailment. Although his death was not wholly unexpected it came as a shock to his family and friends. He was 87 years old , born in New Cornwall, a son of the late Elias and Caroline (Corkum) Frank. Mr. Frank had been in failing health for some time, but was not confined to his bed. He was suffering from a heart ailment. Although his death was not wholly unexpected it came as a shock to his family and friends. He was 87 years old , born in New Cornwall, a son of the late Elias and Caroline (Corkum) Frank. Some years after marrying, he and his family moved to Parkdale, where he spent the remaining years of his life. Surviving in his immediate family are his widow and two daughters, Mrs. Ernest Nauss, Somerset, Kings County; Mrs. Ira Wentzell, Maplewood,with whom he resided. Six other children predeceased him. He also leaves three brothers and three sisters: Fred, Samuel, and William, living at New Cornwall; Mrs. Henry Rafuse and Mrs. Joseph Rafuse, New Cornwall, and Mrs. Angus Zwicker, Gold River; also 14 grandchildren and 15 great-grandchildren. The funeral was held from his daughter's home and the Baptist Church on Monday morning at 10 o'clock, with services conducted by Rev. Sidney Horton, assisted by Rev. W.H. Palmer of New Germany United Church. With thanks to Rosemary Rafuse.
