He was born Jan 20, 1921 in Pleasant Twp., Franklin County, Ohio, the son of Carl C. and Lucile Duff Wade. Mr. Wade, a retired Wright-Patterson Air Force Base management analyst in the Air Force Logistics Command, was a graduate of West Jefferson High School and the Ohio State University. Wade, 64, of Enon, died 3:47 a.m. Thursday, Sept. 26, 1985 in St. Johns Center, Springfield, Clark, Ohio. He was born Jan 20, 1921 in Pleasant Twp., Franklin County, Ohio, the son of Carl C. and Lucile Duff Wade. Mr. Wade, a retired Wright-Patterson Air Force Base management analyst in the Air Force Logistics Command, was a graduate of West Jefferson High School and the Ohio State University. He worked for Farmer's Home Administration 1948-1960, and at WPAFB 1960-1980. He was a WWII veteran, an ordained elder and deacon of Covenant Presbyterian Church, past president of the Enon Lion's Club and past treasurer of the Enon Emergency Relief Committee. Mr. Wade was also a former leader in local and district Boy Scout activities and a member of the Enon Historical Society. He is survived by his wife Charlot (Welshimer), whom he married in 1949 ; a daughter Nancy, of Cincinnati ; a son and daughter-in-law, Dan and Diane of Marion ; a grandchild, Miranda ; and a sister Mrs. William (Christine) Ludwig of Chillicothe. Memorial services will be at 3 p.m. Sunday in Covenant Presbyterian Church where the family will greet friends following the service.
