DeLAND, 60, farmer residing six miles northeast of Kewanna near Bruce Lake, died suddenly about 8 o'clock Tuesday evening while milking. Mr. DeLand had been in ill health for several years; death was due to a heart attack. Delamer L. (NOTE ADDED TO FINDAGRAVE: DeLamer was also survived by a sister, Mattie SMITH of Fort Wayne, Indiana and Lynn DeLand of Wabash County, Indiana -- but they were estranged. DeLamer was predeceased by his parents DeLamer Sr. and Elizabeth (Smith) and his brothers Edward and Frederick, who both died in Missouri). Funeral services will be held Thursday afternoon at 2 o'clock in the Community church at Bruce Lake Station with Rev. Darwin LAVENGOOD in charge.
