Description	:	Delbert W. Prigge, 89, of Okolona, Ohio passed away on Sunday, August 13, 2017 at Henry County Hospital, Napoleon, Ohio. He was born October 18, 1927 in Napoleon Township to the late Edwin and Amelia (Miller) Prigge. On December 4, 1949 he married Evelyn Rathge at St. Paul Lutheran Church, Napoleon Township He was a lifetime member of Bethlehem Lutheran Church of Okolona where he was baptized and confirmed. Read More	Delbert W. Prigge, 89, of Okolona, Ohio passed away on Sunday, August 13, 2017 at Henry County Hospital, Napoleon, Ohio. He was born October 18, 1927 in Napoleon Township to the late Edwin and Amelia (Miller) Prigge. On December 4, 1949 he married Evelyn Rathge at St. Paul Lutheran Church, Napoleon Township He was a lifetime member of Bethlehem Lutheran Church of Okolona where he was baptized and confirmed. He served as a deacon, trustee, elder and formally bowled on their bowling team. He entered into the US Army on February 20, 1946 and had the title of surgical technician. After he returned from the service he worked at the Okolona Grain Co. He then worked for Behrman Construction Co. in Ridgeville Corners as a brick mason. He later joined Local/Bricklayers Union until his retirement in 1989. He was a former member of the Florida Volunteer Fire Department, coached pee wee baseball and also helped on the family farm. He enjoyed going to his kids and grandchildren's sporting events until he was unable to do so. Surviving is his wife, Evelyn of 67 years; children, Kathleen ReBeau of Wauseon, Ohio, Thomas Prigge of Defiance, Ohio, Brenda (Rob) Rettig of Napoleon, Ohio, Michael Prigge of Okolona, Ohio, David (Hope) Prigge, and son-in-law Greg Re Beau both of Napoleon, Ohio; grandchildren, Beverly (Tom) Nye, Laura (Mike) Stechschulte, Leigh (Julie) Re Beau, Michelle (Zach) Fruth, Nicholas and Natalie Rettig, Jacob, Cailyn, and Lukas Prigge; great grandchildren, Abigail Nye, Landon and Konnor Stechschulte; step great grandchildren, Kylie Meek, Megan and Kylie Wilson; and many nephews and nieces. He was preceded in death by his brother, Donald (Margaret) Prigge, daughter, Janice Re Beau, and son-in-law, Ronald Re Beau. Visitation will be held at 2 - 8 p.m. on Thursday, August 17, 2017 at Rodenberger Funeral Home, Napoleon and one hour prior to the church service on Friday. Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Friday, August 18, 2017 at Bethlehem Lutheran Church, Okolona with Pastor Terry Courter officiating. Interment will follow at the church cemetery where military honors will be accorded by the Ridgeville Corners American Legion Post. Memorials are suggested to Bethlehem Lutheran Church in Okolona, Napoleon Fire and Rescue, or charity of donors choice. Online condolences may be made at www.rodenbergerfuneralhome.com.
